Daredevil 8

So if you’ve been living under a rock you have heard and seen daredevil and loved it, but don’t know what to do here are a few graphic novels and stories to check out.

  1. ShadowlandGreat comic book from Andy Diggle-Daredevil returns from Japan a changed man goes back to hell’s kitchen creates Shadowland sectioning off Hell’s kitchen. Daredevil becomes a vengeful hero where other superheroes feel Daredevil has gone too far and has to be stopped.
  2. The Man Without Fear- Frank Miller yes that Frank Miller took on Daredevil in the 1980’s. He put the spin of Daredevil as an antihero. He came back to expand on Daredevils beginnings put Kingpin in the shadows and expand on Elektra’s and Daredevils relationship. These issues in any collection are a must have for any comic book collection.
  3. The Elektra Saga-Another Frank Miller collection. These are the issue that introduces Elektra and her death is still one of the most iconic in comic’s history. This collection is a must own for any comics collection.

Daredevil 5

  1. Daredevil Yellow- This is Jeph Loeb/Tim Sale’s take on the early days of Matt Murdock being Daredevil. The story looks at Matt Murdock’s father’s murder and his seeking those responsible. Also Spoilers the series also recollect his lost love Karen Page.

Authors’ note- If you really need your Daredevil’s fix you could watch the movi… I cannot finish this statement. I will say the series is amazing, gritty and the way the Daredevil story should have been told.  I am glad that Marvel, Netflix took a gamble on bringing Daredevil to the small screen. I can’t wait for Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and the Defenders.

If you’re out on long island I encourage you to check out 4th world Comics for all your Daredevil needs
